The Duchess is all about quality. As a traditional London pub, we offer a wide choice of 20 draught beers, six real ales, over 250 premium spirits and an excellent range of quality wines by the glass or bottle.

We are also passionate about our food.We source the finest ingredients from the best local suppliers. All our dishes are prepared to order by our Head Chef John and his staff, with daily specials and outstanding Sunday roasts a speciality.

The décor is smart, eclectic and quirky. Great care was taken when we undertook the extensive refurbishment of the Duchess in November 2014 to restore both the exterior and interior to its former glory, being guided by the remaining original features and adding some touches of our own. Most of the furniture is bespoke or reclaimed antiques, restored to their original condition with some stunning original art.

We also have a function room on the first floor offering an ideal space for all special occasions. With its stained glass private bar and roof terrace, it commands arguably the best view of our neighbour, the iconic Battersea Power Station. Our walled beer garden with its beautiful floral display and BBQ area is a wonderful suntrap in the summer and a real hidden treasure, it is also heated for when the weather is cooler.
