Our kitchen is run by a nice man called Steve. Steve believes that if he buys good produce from local suppliers, and cooks them from fresh, then you will probably like it. All our suppliers are based in a 20 mile radius, our pies are made on the premises, our chips are made from sacks of maris piper spuds & our gravy is not from a box. Food is served every day from noon til 9pm, except Wednesday’s Pie Night, when we’re open til 10pm.

Good solid roast dinner and good portion size too, they do a smaller plate as well if your not feeling up to the bigger size. Choice of beef or chicken for meats.
Why aye pet, it were good pal but a could’a gone some more graaaavy!
Big portions and nice Yorkshire puds but the beef was a little tough. Smaller plate still looked fairly large so would probably opt for that if I were to go again.
Having tried the Sunday roast at the Brandling Villa I was actually very disappointed. The portion was not particularly generous – despite being more expensive than other pubs, the veg was undercooked and not cleaned prior to being cooked. Also, the beef was as tough as old boots! I won’t be eating my Sunday lunch there again, I’m afraid.
