The Mitre is located on the High Street in the heart of Shaftesbury. The main tourist attractions, Gold Hill, Shaftesbury Abbey and Park Walk, are walking distance from the pub. Open daily for lunch and dinner, our menu is mixture of British classics and traditional meals and you will always find interesting specials on our specials board. Our drink list has been carefully selected to satisfy variety of our clientele.
Our dining area is most inviting in colder months with the roaring fire and cosy and warm atmosphere by candlelight. The decking at the back of the building is the most popular spot during sunny weather as it gives the view of Blackmore Vale and the sun shines here during the whole day in the summer.
