The ground floor restaurant in the Hilton Deansgate may have lost its way in recent year as competition grew around it – but a recent visit confirmed that it’s very much back, thanks largely to chef Stuart Duff taking charge of the kitchen.

If you want a Sunday lunch with bells on, The Hilton Deansgate Experience offers a glass of champagne in Podium, as well as your starter, fish course and main course (Cheshire beef beef sharing platter with roast vegetables), before you’re whisked upstairs for cocktails and cakes in Cloud 23.
