The village of Twywell is recorded in the Domesday book & the oldest part of The Friar was built in the late 17th Century. With it’s coursed limestone, thatch roof & leaded windows it is the picture perfect old English Inn.

The Friar is ‘dog friendly’ & allows dogs with their owners in the bar area & of course outside. Dog bowls & water are provided & sometimes treats! The  Hills & Dales close by is popular for walking either before or after eating! Children are always welcome & we also offer a children’s menu & high chairs.
