Eating in Oakley made easy
At Crown Carveries we don’t stand on ceremony. There’s no need to book; just pop in when you’re hungry. We also have comfy hotel rooms if you want to stay over, with plenty of parking, free WiFi too, and we run a pub quiz every Wednesday.

First time we have bothered to book. Wish we hadn’t. Service was very very poor. Waited ages to get our drinks, and again for our starters which were overlooked to the point of being partially burnt.
As soon as we had finished first course our table electronic device/alarm sounded – our main courses were ready!
Out of 5 meals to had to be returned, one because it was the wrong order, the other as the veggie burger was burnt to a crisp.
No attentive service after receipt of meals, so had to find a member of the waiting service. He was very polite & offered to reorder for us, but we declined as other members of our party were already part way through their meals.
We were refunded the two meals, but at no point was there any kind of aplogy made.
We won’t be returning and would advise other customers to steer clear.
