Roast rack and pulled shoulder of Blackface lamb with shallots, mint and redcurrants is joined on the elegant Merchant House Brasserie menu by baked thermidor of Chancre crab with Jersey scallops, Applewood cheddar and a herb crust. Sharing boards include British seafood with North Sea halibut and Morecambe bay shrimps, while dainty starters feature the inventive wild mushrooms scotch duck egg with a salad of pear, watercress, broad beans and truffle mayonnaise.
