Delivering traditional British pub flavours in an idyllic country setting, The Bumble Bee in Quedgeley is ideal all year round, with a cosy log fire for winter and beer garden for summer. The pub’s hearty heritage as a fresh water spring and cider orchard also accounts for the great cuisine.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Bumble Bee menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies designed by celebrity chef James Martin offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Bumble Bee ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

The Bumble Bee is a mere 11-minute drive from Gloucester.

  1. Lovely looking pub inside and out, however the burgers ordered where burnt one was in 3 pieces and the relish non existent. The roast dinner claiming to have homemade yorkshire puds looked like they came from the value freezer section, the stuffing was a slimy lump and you could have broken a tooth on the pigs in blankets. Terrible considering you are paying around £13.00 for each meal. The drinks are pricey too such a shame.
