We chose this Pub due to its location, very close to our offices, great for an office outing. The whole booking experience was quite straight forward. We booked 3 tables for a group of 11 people. The evening started quite early- 5.30pm on Friday evening, The pub at that time was not too busy, easy to set up an unlimited tab as well as get the ball rolling with drinks and food. The quality of drinks was ok, the food was not bad either. We got a bit disappointed when one of the starters run out very early into the evening. The drinks were flowing, we were getting a bit marry, when one of the Bar Attendants came up to us and asked us to quiet it down, as one person next to us complained about our party, by that time our tab reached close to £500.00. We have been to many places, this was the first experience when our outing was ruined. I would have understood if we were rude, swore non-stop or went looking for a fight. We only were having a lough and a conversation. At the end of the day it is a pub, that serves drinks, people do get merry there we were a group of 11 at the end of the day. I immediately went to talk to the manager who profoundly apologised on behalf of the Bar Attender who was fairly new with the Company, but by then I did not wish to stay there any longer, the evening was ruined. I asked for all pending orders for our group to be cancelled as we wished to leave. We ended up spending only £380.00. We went to their competitors to carry on our evening, where we left close to £2K. I do not recommend this place to bigger groups, nor will I ever come back.
