Dear sir/madam.the bar service at the Toby carvery at Bruntcliffe is diabolical,in the past 4 months I and my wife have visited these premises 4 times for a few drinks and a meal whilst until today the food as been good (both my wives veggie gravy and my Toby traditional gravy was at the best tepid)the service as been pathetic. On each occasion the bar as been left unattended and I have had to go find someone to serve me,today I stood at the bar for at least 5 minutes to be told by a passing member of staff they would be with me shortly who then went and dealt with some customers who had only just entered the premises and were stood awaiting for a table even through the premises were half empty. I then had to wait at least another 5 minutes before been served.I would also like to point out that the standard of the drinks been served is hopeless on the last 2 occasions I have had to return drinks that were substandard (could this because the pipes are not cleaned on a regular basis.
